What worries me is that Fulham were not that special. Don't get me wrong, they played well, but it was noticable that they just passed properly ... to their own team, and not hopefully playing the ball into the approximate area like our players did.

Most of the players on show today need to be told that if they don't start concentrating they'll be out in January. The probem is, if we are deep in the mire at Christmas nobody will want them and they will just hang around taking the money.

All the bull.**** this week by SWP and Barton about playing for England is a joke. You want your chance you gotta earn it .. and today neither of them did. (At least Barton didn't get a strop on and deck someone.)

Taraabt looks like a luxury that we cannot afford, especially with Bothroyd incapable of playing up front on his own. Either he (Taraabt) grows up and starts putting in a shift or he can go and play for Wycombe where he can ponce around, do lots of tricks and win matches. Bothroyd has to control the balls passed directly to him. At the moment too many of them are bouncing off him by 4 or 5 feet and the defender just pops round him and clears.

I am beginning to think that Neil Warnock has top make a few big decisions. As soon as we go behind and Faulin and Derry start pushing forward more the defence is very exposed.

i am sure you can come up with a lot more. Frankly, I can't be arsed to write any more.

I think the changes made at the back undid the balance of the team, there was a hesitancy that Johnson with his pace was able to take advantage of and with us chasing the game became more evident as it went on. The half-time changes were ineffective once the fourth goal went in and it was almost a turkey shoot before, mercifully, Fulham took their foot off in the last quarter hour.

What is clear is that our squad is desperately short of quality and, without the five late signings we would be cannon-fodder. Johnson, Zamora and Dempsey were a yard faster in thought and execution. Let's hope we learn our lesson.
