    sky highlights: http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...ristol-city/10700136/bristol-city-1-2-preston

These highlights don't show the whole story - where is the penalty incident which was right in front of me? We even HEARD the contact it was that blatant. The ref might have been unsighted but the linesman was right there. I can't remember ever seeing such a clear penalty incident.

This was my first game this season and me and Hillzider (from OTIB) and mrs R&W were in the corner of the South stand and the Dolman - in line with the 6 yard box.
Overall I can't really disagree with LJs comments but I wonder when he will actually act. We were by far the better team for the first 20 minutes and the Preston keeper was made to work hard - again, only one of his several good saves were on the sky highlights. He was by far the busiest keeper.
Our heads went elsewhere when they scored. We became like frightened rabbits and gave the ball away very cheaply. We were lucky when they hit the bar - they (Preston) had their tails up and were looking dangerous.
Preston disgraced themselves however, by wasting time sitting down on the pitch feigning injury - a tactic they continued into the second half.
We were not much better in the second half tbh until Wilbs came on - we seemed rejuvenated by that and the goal duly came.
For about 10 minutes before and after we scored we had a period where we actually dominated once again, hitting the post in the process. However this didn't last long and their winner was always going to happen when we seemed to run out of 'sparkle' and reverted back to the lacklustre slow game, getting caught in the break - Magnusson missing his tackle to let Johnson through to score.

I agree LJ needs to shoulder the blame - he is the manager and ultimately responsible. For me, the difference between our domination and our passiveness was movement (or lack of) off the ball. This was the same as I saw on TV when we played Brighton and I would have expected LJ to have sorted it.
    He hasn't.
For large periods of the game, when we had possession, the only city player moving was the one with the ball - with 10 statues left to be marked by Preston. Simple for Preston to deal with. Even I am capable of marking a f-ing monolith. It doesn't move.
Overall I think a defeat was harsh, because Preston were not really that good, but it happened and again - I agree with LJ that there isn't a lot wrong - but he is failing to correct what IS wrong.
We need movement off the ball and support for Tammy. Tomlin was playing too deep and hasn't the pace to dart forward to help him.

As I said before; the contract extension is meaningless - if the slide continues LJ will go.
It's not what I want - as instability at this time just before the January window is the last thing we need, but he is not bulletproof and needs to step up and walk the walk, not just talk.
