Well I'm happy, 1st trip since October to see City in person and they win, felt the 1st half was poor, but 2nd half was much better performance. Thought they all played well, Garcia seemed to take a while to settle in his Right Back position, but its only temporary position. And should I point out that I haven't seen City lose this season if I've attended the game... anyone want to pay for me to attend the remaining games LOL

Your first trip since October and unfortunately my last until I possibly make the trek down to West Ham!
Thought the boys were outstanding today, other than as Josh King said in the premier bar... how Corry Evans missed we will NEVER know

The 2nd half was the best i've seen us play for a while, hopefully we can build on it and make a strong finish to the season.

Barmby needs to try and sign King permanently, that kid gets better and better every game.

I don't think we even gave him the ball with less than the usual 5 men to beat a handful of times. From 3 or 4 times he created two 1-on-1s with the keeper by running at and past the defence, one of which was his goal, and on another he teed up Evans for one of his misses. You know it might just be worth playing him up front so he finds himself with so few defenders to beat on a more regular basis. <whistle>

EDIT: I'm aware he won the ball for his goal, but the point about trying to play him into the situation he created there isn't something we ever seem to try to do often enough still stands.

Totally agree. Think a cheeky bid for Brady is needed too. When on his game, the lad is unstoppable.
    The rest will be frees.

Think we might need to buy a new net first after King peppered it. Problem is though we have no money to spend on the likes of King & Mannone

I think Brady is ours if we want him. King might be harder to land though, SAF might want him to play at a higher level.

I've seen worse than performances than the first 45 minutes. I agree it wasn't great, but there's been a few that have been utter ****e recently. At least we tested their keeper and got firward.

Emnes caused our defence, Garcia inparticular, some trouble, but steadily our defence got wise to their diagonal balls. Garcia was guilt of ball watching at times but he made up for it in the second half. Remember he's not played alot.

It was great to see Koren and Chezzy back. I thought they were out for the rest of the season at least, but they made a difference.

Best thing was we showed alot of guts to come from behind against a playoff challeneger and win it. And we deserved it.

King's goal was class, Fyatt deserved his goal for his work rate and Evans should have made it 4-1. Can't believe he missed two sitters. Other than that he did well.

Not a chance he'll play at a higher level yet, his touch isn't good enough.

Maybe not. I just get the impression United rate him more highly than Brady.

Supposidly when he moved to the German side it was with a view to a permanent, so they can't want him that much.

    I don't think that's correct.

You'd have to direct that question to Man United.

I'm not that fussed to be honest, I was arguing for the sake of it. But I am interested to see who we replace Brady with & hopefully we'll keep King for next season on loan.

The Allam's have decided that having invested a large proportion of their net worth, the club needs to stand on it's own two feet. Understandable.
