Guys, I'm none to sure what the ingredients were over the last 24 hours, BUT I honestly have enjoyed OUR forum today. Great banter, agreements, disagreements, just brilliant! Basically US against the rest. Even me and Jose on the same side I think that my personal Road to Damuscus moment was after Gary Speed died and I thought of the stuff that I was writing about Pulis and I still not proud of that! Today has helped me get over that nonsense and back to what makes this a nice place to be. All the best Nick
Nicky I was talking well *arguing the toss* if you like trying too keep our end up on the Spurs board.. It got me thinking that this guy must be so bitter. He said " I hate Stoke City" I hate their fans" etc.. I thought of Gary Speed, WHAT he must have been going through and .... Here we have this idiot who will honestly admit on here that.. He hates us, everything we stand for made me sick to be truthful Nicky. IF someone actually can HATE on a forum what are we coming too? I have actually enjoyed it too matie... all banter always has been, always will be. Unless you happen to be Ghoddle a certain Spurs fan. For once I've given up trying to make my point Must be a first for me I honestly felt sorry for him/her? they have a big problem which makes me wonder.. Is it all worth it? I think its great how people with differing opinions on the Stoke board all came together as 1 to fight for this clubs rights. I'm actually welling up as i write this, because we all stand for just 1 thing OUR BELOVED STOKE CITY Well done guys........We are Stoke & We Will Play How We Want
I actually saw the whole match again today and yes we were fortunate that Adebayor 'goal' was given offside. Yes we were fortunate no penalty was given for handball against Ryan. He was also just a little overzealous with his 'handling' of Kabul. All that said we fought like mad on Sunday and I was drained emotionally at the end of the game and with sheer joy we had won. Yes we got the luck this time but no doubt we will suffer another day! Still thrilled with those 3 points. So we have a chance of having 27 points by the end of the year!
That's not actually true Huthy. I was fighting our corner on the Spurs board when the Welsh Mourinho blatantly back stabbed me so it's not all " supposed " Stokie pulling together!
How did I "back stab" you? If anybody posts something I strongly disagree with, or that clearly contradicts everything they've said in many of their other posts on this board, then I'll pick them up on it- doesn't matter what board it's on. I thought a forum was a place where arguments should be challenged and opinions shared? Personally, I think you're over-reacting.
Twice you've said that now to try and justify what you did, but what did you disagree with on the Spurs board I was merely fighting our corner? You disagreed with my post on "our" board about Pulis being negative which was done weeks back so why did you have to come on the Spurs board and post a link to it? Anyway Mourinho I wouldn't mix with arseholes like you in real life so I'm certainly not going to entertain you on a chat forum. You are obviously one of those people in life that brown noses their way to the top at the expense of everyone else and in real life have no friends so as far as I'm concerned you can go **** yourself! I would never try to belittle a fellow Stokie on ANY forum and yes I've seen posts and comments I have not agreed with but chose not to comment on them. Had this been a real life situation I could 100% guarantee I would have put you on your arse!
On the Spurs bord, you basically said "I'm loving what's happening to our club at the moment" - I simply pointed out that this isn't strictly true based on all your other threads / comments on this board. If you don't want to be strung up by your own words, don't create an article which in it says "Pulis constantly sells the Stoke fans short week-in, week-out", and then claim a month or two later that actually you're really enjoying our success. Don't be mad at me for making you look a fool - you did all the legwork yourself. I was wrong to post this on the Spurs board (for which I apologise), maybe I should've bitten my tongue on this occasion, but you get my point. It's also nice to see you know so much about me from behind a computer screen. Thank God I don't get as worked up about this forum as you do, or I may have taken the second half of your post personally! I don't quite get the purpose of your torrent of abuse (other than to belittle a fellow Stokie, which you'd "never do", right?), but it won't make me post any less. Anyway, I'm off to the panto tonight with my presumably imaginary fiancee - I'll take a bodyguard with me just in case you're there to "knock me on my arse" - because that solves everything, doesn't it?

Oops! I don't want to get into an argument with two fello Stoke fans so.. Jose and Waddo.. how about we call a truce? Spurs fans were having a right ole dingdong at STOKE which, is why I got started too! Waddo and Jose, sometimes I think we (all) say things we might regret a few days later. I should know, I put my foot in it more than most.
I'm happy to call a truce Potts (although he's the one with the grudge so that's probably his decision). I could never get so worked up about an internet forum - if Waddo wishes to continue cursing my existence and further our war of words he can do it through PM. There's no point (further) ruining the board for others.
