got to be from the BBQ with American style mustard, onion cheese and yes....a wholesome dollop of ketchup
Good quality beef minced up, salt & pepper, mould to shape and whack it in the fridge for at least half an hour. Cook until still pink in the middle but with a nice crust on the outside, serve on a toasted brioche bun with lettuce and fried onions, couple of strips of bacon, lush mate, ****ing lush.
I had a recipe from an American mate of mine from New Orleans that included loads of tabasco sauce....really good
Yes but it aint cooked if its still pink in the middle, you will be running to the ****ter while your munching on your second one
Obviously a beef burger, non of this chicken stuff. Bacon, chorizo, jalapenos and a generous helping of melted cheese. I do have to go for tomato sauce mind, bbq is alright on a burger but tomato win's pretty much every time.
I fell in love with blue cheese burgers in South Aftica last year and even more fantastic are the pizzas that they also make with blue cheese.... A W E S O ME !!! Back to burgers.... Fudruckers take some beating
Might save you a trip to the hospital Comm Why shouldn't burgers be eaten rare? The FSA says some people mistakenly think rare burgers are safe to eat at home, because steaks can be safely served this way. But the agency says steaks are different to burgers. With steaks, any harmful bacteria sit on the surface of cuts of meat and can be killed off by searing or cooking, even if the middle is left rare. Burger meat, on the other hand, is minced and mixed together, so harmful bugs can get to the centre of the meat and will not be killed unless heated to the right temperature. Officials says this advice holds even for expensive burgers or products labelled as "steak burgers". And burgers should be cooked until the juices run clear. Some restaurants do serve burgers that are rare, but their chefs must follow strict rules.
