I see that the Yak has now cooled off from what he said previously about wanting to come to City permanently according to the Mercury, does that surprise anyone at all ?
To be honest im not surprised. All the chat about loving his time with our fine club only servers to keep the fans happy. But when it comes down to it; money talks in our modern game sadly. The golden MON era had players that would have died trying for a club - those players are hard to come by nowaday. If we are to take the Yak on, and he is a quality player who could destroy the CC, then id like a contract with lower weekly wages and higher goal bonus' to give him the motivation to train and play for the shirt!
Pull Your Fox Up I very rarely believe players when they tell the media all this sh-tuff. It's decision time (namely now) when you see their true colours. They're just saying it all to keep their options open and keep the peace around the Club. There's no point dwelling on it though, everyone knows this is the way the world works now and we've either got to pay up or tell him to sling his hook as soon as possible. If he's not bothered, I'm not bothered.

We might as well stoke the fires that Pull Your Fox Up has lit: I expect that picture to be in the Daily Mail tomorrow morning
Danger fox Thats the legend Trevor Benjamin I loved Trev. Yeah he was crap but gave 100% to the cause everytime
Good ol' Trev, he has the best, and probably the biggest transfer list on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trevor_Benjamin
Did you actually think that was Maynard or was the joke that I'd stretched his face out of proportion? Either way made me laugh! In my defence I can't use photoshop and that's the best you can do with paint!
It has been previously reported that Yak was not so keen to move down to the Championship on a permanent basis. However, Yak has previously said he WOULD be willing to drop down.....but only for Leicester. So if he ends up signing for West Ham, I would feel quite let down by him and would feel that he was simply a mercenary. My belief, however, is that they Yak will still sign for us UNLESS he has a significant offer from the Premier League
Somebody on FoxesTalk saying it's back on... TBH with you I don't want him here now. I was getting excited about the prospect of Maynard.
..yep well if the Yak doesn't arrive I'll change the back drop if needed, Big Trev picture did make me laugh, nearly spat me coffee !!!!.... brilliant...
