You forgot to add that he hasn't been at the club for a full season yet, has only had Rodgers players to choose from and still reached two cup finals without the luxury of playing Midgetyland on the way.

So did Rodgers do better with these players then Klopp.

 

Liverpool have gotten away with blue murder. They've finished 8th having spent over 100 million again and the media are not panning them like they have done for spurs and united. Klopp has been at Liverpool for 8 months now and he has the players to be in at least top 4, especially considering how weak the league has been this season.

 

Next year is their year.......

I wonder Tobes. Klopp clearly has pedigree but he has hardly made the impression that many thought he would at the start. The pool fans are trying to make out he has only been around 5 mins, but 8 months is more than enough time to leave your stamp.This may be controvrsial, but I think Rodgers could have achieved as much, if not more than Klopp this season, especially considering how poor the standard in the league has been. If rodgers had achieved what Klopp has this season, those on the pool board would be calling for his head.

 

My highlight of the season was listening to that fat mess Mickey Quinn saying he'd put a wedge on dem red men winning the league after some half decent result, not long after he arrived........and he was far from alone......

Klopp can't be judged until he's developed his own team though mate, he's got probably 18 months before Der Kaiser will be seriously questioned.

 

I was reprimanded for calling Mickey Quinn a mong on the Saints board. I think the whole "judge him once he's built his own team" is only being said because he is a likable character, and to be fair he is working with a squad with some talented players who aren't being used properly. For example tobes, will you give the new Everton manager a whole year and reserve judgement on him untill he has built his own side despite the considerable talent he will inherit ?

Poch and the Dutchman have both had two full seasons and both had two pre-seasons two assess their squads and mould it to their liking with players they've chosen, Herr Klopp will be judged just like the other two when he's had the same opportunity to purchase and play a squad he builds that play the way he chooses.
