5 million (minus Leicester sell on clause) for a player we bought for 200k, 1 year left on his contract. And plus this opens up space in the first team for someone to break in like Lloyd Sam, Aidy White ect and that 5 millions can be put to better use like a decent defence, maybe a left back and another CB and then we'd definitely be promotion candidatures because let's face it our strike force is top class in this league, we have Ramon Nunez, Ross McCormack and Andy Keogh fighting for forward places, Robert Snodgrass, Lloyd Sam and Aidy White fighting for places on the wings, Jonny Howson, Adam Clayton and Micheal Brown fighting for central mid places and Andy Lonergan has been great for us in goal and if he gets injured we have the decent Paul Rachuka as backup. And let's face it Max Gradel hasn't been too special for the beginning of this season, I think a top class but replaceable winger is a good sacrifice for a good defence. That is if Bates and Grayson decide to spend the money, if we don't we will do nothing this season.
First what makes you believe it is 5 million. Second I believe Leicester get a quarter of the fee because of a sell on clause and most importantly you believe Bates is going to give Grayson the full amount to strengthen the team? He is still over a million short from the money received for Kasper.

Re you crazy? I agree with many of your posts but sorry your on your own here.... Gradel was our most exciting player by a mile.... and the best chance we had at 20 goals this season. We all know he won't be replaced with anyone that is in the same class or even near. Even if we got 1/4 of £5m, which I doubt, Bates will probably add build something else in the upper stand that is open 2-3 times a season... it wont be re-invested, and if it was, I wouldn't trust Graysons judgement on new players IMO Oh yeah and you miss the point.... Our strike force WAS top class, we just sold the best bit of it
You wanna try Halving that 5 million quoted and then take the 25% sell on that Lesta have plus agent fees and the admin fee that goes to bates we will be lucky to see a million
