Not sure whether to post this after I read it as it's the usual tabloid made up 'scoop' but it is I suppose what we can expect now. If he was lured away, I hope he realises that Abramsackovitch doesn't give a toss whether you're a legend or not, ask RDM. I just hope GFZ is good to his word. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-gianfranco-zola-is-a-serious-contender-1539655
Seems like his word was "One of my dreams is a day when I can become the manager of Chelsea," Zola admitted earlier this season. "Chelsea is in my heart. I hope one day I will get the chance to be manager there." At least if he does go at the end of the season we could not accuse him of hiding his longer term ambition. I am not worried - let's get through this year first
How long ago did GFZ make those comments? And it has taken the Mirror this long to notice. Lazy journalism.
It is vey lazy. Let's be honest, if Chelsea did offer GFZ the job he'd most likely take it like a shot and i cannot imagine many would begrudge him provided he was relatively up front about it. Every time I see Brendan Rodgers on the TV I get angry just thinking about what he did to us - cannot see GFZ doing it and Chelsea is a little different to Reading
Bit of a change from the past tho, with managers moving to other championship clubs because of the lack of ambition at watford. This year we have a manager being scouted by the champions of europe
Strange article. Zola's clearly flavour of the month but apparently before the Watford job he was someone who couldnt manage in the Premier League. Football fans are so fickle...
If I were GFZ and the Chelski job came up I would be lookng over my shoulder. There is one manager in the league who would even ditch Liverpool to get it, especially now he has Premiership experience with two clubs and has never been sacked from a job at the top level. GFZ v BR..............................FIGHT!!!!
Brag - see posting prediction re an error - you still have time to correct and get the prediction for Watford that you want
