Bramble, 31, joined the Black Cats from Wigan for £1m in July 2010 and played 51 games. Kilgallon signed from Sheffield United in January 2010 but made just 26 appearances and spent time on loan at Middlesbrough and Doncaster. Matt Kilgallon Matt Kilgallon has five England under-21 caps to his name. Sunderland have also confirmed that Danny Rose has returned to Tottenham following the end of his loan spell. Bramble played 19 times last season, with his final game coming in the 1-0 defeat by Manchester United on 30 March - the day before current manager Paolo Di Canio arrived. Kilgallon is a very good defender, not a world beater but a solid solid centre half who hasn't had many chances here. I honestly can't remember him having a bad game when he was called upon, good luck to him and bramble
