The rumours have started, what about Paul Tisdale to Bristol City..? http://www.exeterexpressandecho.co.uk/story-19983475-detail/story.html
He's a good steady guy-Live near Exeter and to be honest, you don't hear much about or from him. Goes about his work in a business like fashion. I think that he has probably done as much with Exeter as he can do. It is not a rich club and gets gates of around 4,500. The rugby is more talked about and followed down here. Exeter does have a very loyal and local fan base and I have never heard any ill spoken of him. He did take them up into League 1 where they struggled and an inevitable relation happened 2 years ago. The club stood with him and they did very well last season until Easter when the wheels seemed to come off. Locally, there seemed to be some doubt as to whether Exeter really wanted to go up. They are doing well again this season, without ever going into the promotion places. I think we could do a lot worse especially given our current position.
he would be ideal imo shouldn't cost alot in compo and doing very well working with a very small budget
What sort of football does he play, hoof-ball, tippy tappy and no end result (SOD style), wing play and direct crosses or 5 through the middle.? ....or a.n.other.?
He was heavily touted when GJ left, but Coppout was appointed by SL (not a board decision). End of the day, SoD is our manager and until he is given his marching orders, it's unfair for rumours to float around. Unfair and disrespectful.... Check me out hahaha
I saw a programme about him on Sky about a month ago - He likes his teams to get it down and play (not easy in League 2)
Why would Tisdale come to us? Exeter's finances are in the black, a deliberate policy of restraint, even if that means they stay in L2. Tisdale has bought into that and I am convinced the board have the same plan for us which is why I dont believe they will dispense with SOD as he is working within the constraints set. There is remarkably no mention of on field success or goals in the 5 pillars.
If you cover a rotten apple in toffee, it still disguise the fact that the apple is rotten and will taste like ****. Replacing SOD with Tisdale will give us a temporary boost at best, and eight months later you'll all be bitching about how **** the club is, and how we should land this other available manager. The problem lies with the board.
Fine, just for you lot I will win the Euro Millions, and buy the club, and we can run it.... Me: Player/Manager/Chairman Wiz, Shiny, Angelic: Board of Directors Cliftonville: Youth and Community projects Banksy: Wash the kit and make everyones packed lunch Ender and Andyy: Joint Football Directors ROD: Assistant Manager Tampa and Cidered: Overseas scouts Redprint: Di Canio ticked off like first team coach that calls everyone sh!t until they get it right I mean I could go all day.... Leave it with me lads, I'll buy a ticket tomorrow and sort this mess out. I played Football Manager a few years ago, can't be that hard!
Shower Cleaner If sod gets sacked, I'm just going to let the board decide what to do, Pretty much the last 4 managers have been what the fans want against what the club were looking at.
please log in to view this image I choked on my quails eggs, couscous and asparagus tips when I saw this
You strike me as a dynamic professional who could sell rice to the chinese, so you could be in charge of shmoozing other clubs to buy our cr@p like Kilkenny! Judging my Massives diet, he is clearly our nutritionalist
I've got a couple of cracking 7 year olds in my U7 Team. We've a 100% record so far this season -played 3 won 3, scored 16 and allowed just 1 goal against us. Last season we won 10 out of 10. Do I get a cut of their transfer fees once we sell 'em on??
