No chance you will get your wish mate. You will see a flock of Dodos been ridden by Elvis Presley clones before Coates gets rid of Pulis, and Pulis won't resign.

I love Tony for what he's done at the club, but can he really take us any further?

EDIT - I'm not saying get rid of Tony, i'm just speculating. For the record I am neither saying Pulis should stay or Pulis should go, I am somewhere in between

How can you want Tone to resign?! :emoticon-0104-surpr Is it because of this whole Radio Stoke thing?

Tony got us to the Prem, and is keeping us in competition with clubs with far, far higher budgets than us. If the price of excellent general results, and financial stability is the odd dire result or confounding tactical choice, I'm more than willing to pay it. I'd much rather be in our situation than, say, Portsmouth, Leeds, or even West Brom's.

No jub, i think that is as far as he can take the club, we have gone stale & our performances each year in the prem, has got progressively worse.

we paid a club record fee for jones, i'm a 30 a day *** man aged 44 who is verging on being an alcoholic (just alcohol dependent i think), and i could put a better showing than that guy has & i'd play for basic pay of £500 a week with a scoring/win bonus attached.

Cause i'd score **** loads more of goals than that tosser

Wow! That's a little harsh, haven't you forgotten all the good things that have happened? Were in a comfy position in the Prem and were recognised as a strong, challenging club to play, especially at the Brit. You've got to think about all the players he's improved and everything he's done the club on a shoe-string budget.

He did say he wanted three years to establish the team as a premiership club.

He knows where he needs to improve the team, he knows who isn't pulling their weight. Lets see what happens at the begining of next season first.

To be perfectly, both sides do have valid arguments. I must be the only one here who isn't on either side.

Joke, sometimes its best to stay 'neutral'.

jub were in a comfy position

Is 6 points off relegation comfy?

now lets look at our remaining away fixtures

    Asenal
    WHU
    Spurs
    Villa
    Blackpool
    Man City

From that i see 1 point (blackpool)

    Home fixtures

WBA (we are due to ,lose to them soon)
    Newcastle
    Chelsea
    Wolves
    Arsenal
    Wigan

To me that seems to keep tony's record of never being relegated, it might come down to wigan @ home last day to stay up

He has a point Jub. I'm sorry but I don't think we should become arrogant and believe there's no way we'll go down, it is still a distinct possibility. We still need 13 more points to be sure, in my opinion.

I do think Tony will get the lads fired up for the next few fixtures, he wants to reach safety as soon as possible.

With the team we have, and the roll that Huth is on, and the freshness I see Carew bringing, I reckon were just as good/better than other teams around the relegation zone.. I am pretty positive we will stay up.

WO WO WO!!!!!! I wouldn't go that far.. there seems to be a lot of TP negativity tonight <steam>

Maybe this whole phase is like a one night stand, but 'a one night rant' - you'll forget/regret about your posts in the morning boys, and you'll be hailing Tone again! :D

Fill in the corners,Don`t agree about TP`s future YET!! but you have cheered me up no end because ( I love this site!!) for the second time this week I have managedto laugh out loud ( the first was the Hitler post) but your description of Jones `s contributions and the fact that your habits re-smoking and drinking are a bit like mine, substitute ***s for a pipe (40yrs!!) and beer (40yrs of home brew!!) are very similar,I can totally empathise how you feel.Funnily enough,I stopped my pipe last week,( felt a bit wheezy) and also have been drinking water at night because I`ve just been put on steroids, but after todays result I`ve had 2 bottles of beer and the Nicorettes are getting hammered!!<cheers>

I too am sick of Pulis. When I think about the players we have let go and the players we have extended contracts to it makes my blood boi.l Im certain that pulis cant play any other way AND IM SICK OF IT!!. Im also sure that we will be found out playing this one dimensional hoofball.

    Players out:

    Tuncay (WTF)
    Gudjohnsen (?)

    Extended contracts:

    Diao(seriously)?
Mama (nice bloke USELESS PLAYER) I wont even call mama a footballer.

This 3 year play is going brilliant tony you really are utilising the quality players!, and with his negativity relegation is still a MASSIVE possibilty. By the way we dont have a small budget compared to other clubs its just Pulis wastes it all. Send Jones from where he came hes a lazy b*****d!!!!

Sorry for the rant but even if pulis keeps us up I want him OUT!!!!!. Im sick of watching this tripe!!!. I know people will jump on me but ive felt like this since the 10th game of this season. Sometimes it makes me cringe to watch us.

    UTPssss
