Ive found the answer on why Tiote gets yellow cards. His presence and 'force', forces players through the air whilst barely touching them. Its not diving, its called being Tioted. Shame it gets him a yella every match. Can't decide who was MotM today. My feed was ****ty.
Foster was the MotM. He kept them in it and made some worldies! Our MoTM was Guti. Been really impressed with him the last few games. Playing for his place maybe?
You could tell Tiote was annoyed with himself as soon as he made the tackle. It wasn't really what you'd call dirty, but just enough for a booking. He knew how much it meant to the team as well as himself.
Looked like a dive from Derbyshire to me, last 4 games at least 1 player on the opposing team get away with not getting booked for persistent fouling (Giggs, Southern, Flanagan (2nd yellow) and Ferguson) yet Tiote gets booked for the first foul, seems odd to me. Oh and also Taylor was our best player but Foster was man of the match.
I would rest him, but if I was Pardew I would be pointing out that he is getting booked for the slighest little thing.
Tiote was unlucky to get booked today, but he's made a reputation for himself and it seems like referees are being very harsh on him
Tiote should never have been booked and I would now 'drop' him for the last two games. We can't risk a 3-match suspension, he is vital to next season! Also MOTM was Taylor followed by Barton for us.
