What do we do then? A premier league record 14th booking yesterday, ]one more would mean a 3 game ban running into next season. Would you leave him out for both games, play him both, or pick one of the two games and hope he avoids another booking?

I think if Chelsea beat Man U, I'd write that game off cos I think they'd take us apart, Tiote or no Tiote and I'd play him against West Brom and pray he doesnt be stupid. If Chelsea lose though, they'd have nothing to play for so maybe he'd be worth risking.

we really cant afford to risk him being suspended for the 1st 3 games of next season. i think a strong start is imperative so to risk him not being available then, to have him play in2 dead rubbers would be foolish IMO.

Gives us an excuse to play Guti Barton Nolan Fergie in midfield finally!
With Raylor though I'm assuming Barton will be pushed into the centre and Raylor played on the right

I think I'd just leave him out, not worth risking now we're safe. As Smudger said, Chelsea would boss us either way if that's one of the games they need to win the title.

Would let him play an hour against West Brom and expect Pardew to tell him to be very cautious in his tackling.

Not going to be popular with what I say but play him in both.

Why? well if we got a huge bid for him I'm sure FMA would sell.

Dont say he has signed a new contract it means nothing look at AC.

    MUST LEAVE HIM OUT!!

    IMO...
its really not worth playing him and its something we'd rue at the start of next season.
Send him back home for Summer early I say as we NEED him badly for the start of next season.

Needs to play both games - we should play strongest possible line up - though to me Jonas has looked tired carrying the team for last few games so he should play for 60-70 mins before being replaced by Ferguson. Also, would now play Ranger for both last games to give him some game time. Maybe 10 minutes for Tavs as well

Recently he's been getting a yellow card every game. The Refs are properly against him.
If we play him in one we might get lucky and get the benefit of his game without him conceeding a yellow card, but playing him in both would be suicidal..??!!??

I'd give him 60 mins against West Brom (unless he gets booked before 60) and leave him out against Chelsea. They will really hurt us I think, with or without him and it allows Barton to play in the centre and give Raylor another chance out wide. Also I would risk the West Brom game because he can really boss that game and help us on our way to 3 points which might just get us top 10. Wouldnt be disappointed if he sat out both though.

I think we are going to have to learn to have games here and there where he is suspended - I do not want him to change his game too much (there have been one or two that have been needless). The way Tiote plays he could get booked every single game so as long as we have a back up for him (not Smith/Perch) and am assuming Gosling will be this?! then all should be relatively ok.

Just dont blame the ref's, Tiote has to learn to play without getting yellow carded.

Him getting suspened may have cost us points, because as with Nolan and himself in the team, we are a better side.

I'd have him on for the first 45 mins against West Brom. then sub him off at the break for Raylor and move Barton into the middle with Nolan

Wouldn't bother starting him against Chelsea.

I think it is quite harsh on ref's to say they are after him. He does make stupid fouls, which are rightly penilised. yesterday was perfect example.

  15. In my opinion, we should give Guthrie a chance for the last two games, as he's a good player at this level and can do a job at CM.

He'll be good enough to play in a winning side vs WBA.

Chelsea seems like a dead certain loss so it doesn't matter who plays. If Chelsea beat Manure, they'll be level on points, and with Manure's piss easy last two games of the season, Chelsea will look to take maximum points PLUS
keep their goal difference as high as possible.

I predict a rout at Stamford Bridge, IF Chelsea win today.

Drop him...It would be stupid not to!

Europe is out of the question this season. Relegation is out of the question this season...Neither of them might be next season so we need our best players available!

I think anyone who wants him to play needs their head checked! We have nothing to play for, job done as far as I'm concerned. Perfect chance to give some valuable playing time to the likes of Ferguson, Vuckic and Tavernier etc.

Absolutely no point in him being risked again for the sake of a possible point or two, we need to be firing on all cylinders from the off next season.

There is no way he should play v West Brom. As people have said that'd mean he'll miss the first 3 games next season. That would be a huge blow. Really don't know about Chelsea, we're going to get smashed in all probability so is it worth it? Maybe give him an extended rest, this has been his first full season in English football after only being a squad player in Holland. Maybe a long summer break will see him come back even better next season.
