There's no doubt that Tiote would have been noticed, but it's always occurred to me... what if?

What if Ben Arfa hadn't picked up that injury? Do you think Tiote's talent would have been overshadowed by Arfa's skill and attacking style of play? Would our admiration for Tiote have been split between the two or focused mainly on Arfa? Do you still think you would have bought a Tiote shirt?

I say this because he started so well for our club and looked to have huge potential Plus, more attacking players naturally receive more admiration from the fans. Ben Arfa even received huge support when he was injured.

Anyway, the importance of this article is to make the point that I'm excited for next season. The prospect of Tiote and Arfa being in the same squad is brilliant, especially considering the fact that we may bring in a very good striker for them to work with.

    I can't wait! <ok>

fingers crossed that Arfa stays injury free
if he can do that and avoids falling out with team mates and management
we could have one hell of a player on our hands

Haha, I don't think I'm worthy of Tiote's time ;). Although, I was making the point that Arfa may have kept Tiote out of the limelight.

Ben Arfa will probably come out and say how having a defensive midielder as good as Tiote allows him more freedom to attack and destroy the opposition, safe in the knowledge that Tiote is keeping everythin in Chiek behind him (I'll get my coat). They'll love each other and we'll all love them both (even more!)!

ben arfa COULD be the buy of the century IF he doesnt act like a disruptive bell end like he has at previous clubs. i hope he knuckles down and works hard and stays out of trouble. with tiote running the midfield hopefully it will give him more freedom to attack.
