Tiote- realistically who has the appetite to sign him?

Man City- team stuffed with very expensive signings already and a cracking midfield
Manure- going to have to splash out big time on defence with Vidic out. Midfield not a priority and SAF hates January windows
Arsenal-not sure but Wenger hates massive money signings , and Fat Mike will milk it if there's a sniff
Chelsea- let me think.....Mikel, Romeu, Miereles and Essien all on top wages. Would need to sell first. We could swap for Torres!
Spurs- up to their eyes in debt and Adebayor on £170,000 ( with City ending their contribution at end of season), not sure they have the firepower
Liverpool- surely wouldn't fall for the old three card trick from Ashley again?? They must be sticking pins in dolls of Fat Mike at Shirley bombing.

I think he's staying. He is one of the players who bangs on about how much he really loves playing at the club. Trust it's all true.:emoticon-0107-sweat

As silly as this may sound, I will take nothing for granted until February 1st. Until then I assume we will be fielding the under 18's!

Not silly at all. We have a wheeler dealer owner who looks after No1.

Honestly, I think one player will go in January. Whether it's Tiote or not I don't have a clue, I just really think someone will end up out the door - by that I mean someone actually good.

I'm not defending Ashley, but how's that? He sold Carroll for £35 million which seems to be a great deal, he let Nolan go, who let's be honest, already had the speed of a 50 year old, he let Barton go because of his big mouth, and Jose wanted out of the club because he wanted 'Champions League football'.

If he is going he will go to either Man Utd or Chelsea without a doubt. Man Utd have absolutely nobody in CM that can break play down the way Tiote does, which is why there defence gets exposed sometimes.

As for Chelsea, Mikel hasn't made the grade so he will probably be backup or shipped off. Miereles is more of a box to box player IMO and Essien is always injured.

Yeah I'm the same. As a natural pessimist, I assume that the entire team will be sold for peanuts and that we won't replace them so I just try not to talk about it.

    Given
    Milner
    Bassong
    Habib Baye
    Carroll

All sold for top dollar and no real expense to replace them

    Barton
    Nolan
    Enrique

All got rid of I concur with you for the reasons but still peddled.

Agree with this, Manure may go for him, put Phil Jones back as CB to cover Vidic.

Still only 19-20 isn't he? I think they would prefer someone slightly more experienced for CL matches.

    But were replaced by

    Krul
    Santon
    Simpson
    Ba
    Tiote
    HBA
    Marveaux
    Obertan

all round better players, don't think there's any need for apologies that we didn't pay through the nose for them, or are you of the opinion players aren't any good unless you spend big money on them . . . . . . Kenny?

    I'll tell Tiote <ok>

Given wanted to leave so he could try and win silverware, Milner handed in a transfer request, Bassong and Beye did one when we got relegated, and the offer was too high for Ashley to turn down and i would much prefer Ba than Carroll now.

Man Utd are the only team I can see going in for him, whether that is in January or the summer...who knows!

Damn good business if that's the case, relegated clubs generally get well short changed.
