Not sure if this has already been mentioned and not trying to fan the conspiracy theory flames surrounding Tiotes injury. But has anyone else noticed that all local media (club media included) have been claiming Tiote has been struggling with a knee injury (some even stating fluid on the knee), while nufc.com have been saying its a groin injury? I noticed it a while back, and thought it must be an error, but they've kept saying it in all pre match reports. Now nufc.com is normally very accurate when it comes to matters of fact, which makes it a little odd that they have seemed the only ones running the groin injury story. Sorry if you're all bored with the Tiote thing, just something I've noticed and haven't seen much said about it.

I've not read about it being groin at any point to be honest.

I can only surmise that Tiote is anatomically unique and has baffled medical science.

Perhaps they're getting Tiote's injury mixed up with Marv's.

Yeah, is what I thought. It's just that it kept being mentioned in all the pre match comments since Tiote has been out. Which suggested maybe they know something we don't, or they're just copying and pasting the same injury list for every match?

Nufc.com are reporting about Tiote visiting a shaman about his knee injury...

It's all rubbish. Why would anyone pay the fee we would ask for in january with the ACN taking place this year? The link with Chelsea also makes no sense, they have Mikel, Romeu (who has been quality since breaking into the team), Essien and McEachran in that position. I reckon Chelsea are close to agreeing a transfer for one of our players but, personally, I can't see it being Tiote. Coloccini is the one they would want...

It's his knee, I'm fairly certain.
