To be fair it was a red card, but I don't think Sess would have been sent off if it not for Tiote's pathetic delayed reaction. I'll accept what Sess did was stupid and that he should have been sent off. What I won't accept, however, is Newcastle fans telling us about how hard Tiote is and using the Chuck Norris jokes. it was a red, but his over-reaction has taken him down in my estimations. still, there's only a handful of our players that i can say hand-on-heart would never have done that in the circumstances. overall, i though tiote was very poor today, and i have seen him have some stormers the past few seasons, i think he's a cracking player deserving of his hype, but he was shocking today. fouled and caught people's ankles all the time, you could argue that's his job put his passing was appalling today, his first touch shocking.

Well I think the ref was about right with him, the first two challenges I saw from him weren't yellow worthy anyway. His passing? I can think of three poor passes, which in fairness to those high on helium and oblivious to the game's content, is unusual for him, but overall it was crisp and accurate. sorry, did i say cattermole played better football than tiote today..? don't think so. i said i felt he played poorly today, looked like he gave the ball away a few times and his touch was poor, and like it or not he was totally bossed by cattermole and gardner first half. he definitely improved in the second, i just felt overall he didn't play as well today as i have seen him. you lot watch him more often like, was that one of his best performances then??
