Good news. Tiote should come back in for this one to stiffen up the midfield. As good as Guthrie has been, in simple terms, Tiote is better.

Also, Obertan as an impact sub running at the slow and out of form Evra could be frightening if he can replicate his form against Stoke.

I have a good feeling about saturday!!!

If they are fully fit I'd have them both back in. Tiote over Guthrie seems a no brainer but by the same token you have to consider Guthries confidence. It could rock him if he's dropped after performing ok. I suppose you could say he was poor first half against Citeh, but who wasn't. I'd have to play Tiote I think. Whereas I'd preach for keeping Raylor in for his performances so far and to not ruin his confidence, Tiote is just too good and too important. Particularly with Rooney playing where he is at present. If Ober was fully fit I'd have him in. He will be desperate to impress for a start, and his pace is important to our system. That said I think Sammy is the type to do well on the big stage.

Not sure about Evra being slow or out of form! Still rapid, and has been outstanding since the Citeh defeat. As have Vidic, Ferdinand etc. Think its 5 clean sheets in a row, hence my money is on a 0-0 draw which I would be very happy with.

I'd play both. I find it weird saying this but we miss Obertan, and he will match if not beat Evra for pace.

Raylor has done so well, but I can't help feel that this game is just too big for him, his confidence will be shot after last week. I don't want to see him dropped but I am worried about how he'll react.

I am ****ing buzzing for this one, first time in a while at Man Utd!

I watch a lot of Man Utd due to having many Utd supporting mates. They all agree Evra is there weak link this season, I thnk as neutrals we just haven't noticed as much due to the position he plays!!!

A 0-0 draw would be great but I can honestly see us scoring and putting the ****ters up them!!

i'd put them both back in the starting line up if one thing the city game proved was how much we missed tiote

What's the word on Best, is he likely to be fit? And if so, do you think he should start ahead of Ben Arfa?

Evra is not slow, but defensively he has gone down hill a lot recently. He is still great going forward but he is there weak link at the moment.

I don't think so. This game is perfect for Ben Arfa in my opinion and he looks to be getting back to his best.

Ben Arfa has to play. Man Utd will piss on Best and Ba together, its just too slow. Ben Arfa adds something extra, a real threat.

  12. Don't think it;s slow, Ba has beasty pace and Best isn't slow. But I agree Ben Arfa should play because he does things no one else in the squad can.

We all said at the start of the season that Ben Arfa would play with Demba and I think that has been Pardew's aim all along, it just took an injury in order to bring him in as we were doing so well. Best is still a good option to bring on.

    Best should start IMO.

Links extremely well with Ba and will work harder than HBA.

I wouldn't say hes Obertan quick, but theres no denying hes very quick off the mark, faster than the average striker anyway.

  18. You obviously haven't watched him play, because Ba does have great pace mate. I agree not on the same level as Ober and players like that, but he has the pace to make defenses **** themselves.
