I don't fully understand why so many celtic fans get a huge hard on over this. It's far more than just rivalry and banter. It's an obsession that one doss yahoo **** is making a living out of. Websites have been set up to discuss this. Phone-ins are jammed with them wanting to talk about it. Unbelievable obsession. Fair enough take an interest in your rivals but to get so aroused by it? Is it straw clutching so maybe, if there is a points deduction for entering administration, then Celtic might finally have a fighting chance of winning the league? IF Rangers go into administration, IF they sell their best players, IF they become a far weaker entity or worse, go out of business then what then for Celtic? Celtic will be ****ed, not in the biblical sense, but well and truly ****ed nonetheless. TV money will dry up. Attendances will fall. Sponsorship will disappear. There will be no money left in the Scottish game and we'll end up like a ****ter version of the League of Ireland. Both clubs are tied together (no matter how much some yahoos kick and scream that they aren't, the average fan must see this is the case) as anything that affects one, indireclty affects the other. Scottish football without either Rangers or Celtic is a product that neither Sky or ESPN will touch with someone else's scabby cock. What player will want to come to Scotland in that situation? All the judge recognised in the Bain case was that there was a danger that Rangers could go insolvent before this case was heard. **** me, what an insight this senile **** must have. You don't need to be some sort of financial expert to know that if the figures quoted as owed to the HMRC will buckle Rangers. What is unclear is what the case from HMRC is and what Rangers believe to be the defence. HMRC think they will win, Rangers believe they will win. All the old duffer is confirming that there is a danger of insolvency, something everybody is aware of. Bain, and to a lesser extent those ****ing lawyers, have self interest at the heart of their claims. Fair enough both claim to be owed monies. The flip side is while all the whispers and what not are circulating, these people will use this to their advantage in order to accelerate any hearing and promote their self interest. Hardly ground breaking news. The sum frozen on behalf of HMRC is still under dispute. It was identified and put to one side for this reason. Again, hardly news. More of concenr in the deficit of 10 million annually - that's news and that's a concern and needs to be addressed. There is no point in any Rangers fan sitting here worrying about it as we can do nothing. Until November, anything surrounding the 'big' tax case and Rangers' fate is speculation. And in the words of George Earl Buckle, "In practical life the wisest and soundest people avoid speculation.â
You remind me of the black knight in monty pythons holy grail except you will be put out of your misery
Oh no, are those nasty Tims talking about Rangers Have a look at the threads on the Rangers board - about half of them are from Huns talking about Celtic! Mopey ****.
Actually, something really exciting happened today. The secretary phoned through just after lunchtime to say someone had called me. I asked who it was but he never left his name. I then asked if he'd left a message but she said he hadn't. It was really exciting. Oh wait, that was your story wasn't it? Dull ****.
Stereo do you ever talk about rangers on a rangers post on the rangers board? In fact......has anyone?
Calm down dear, those blood vessels are to last you a lifetime. Why don't you grow a pair and tell big eck to get his own greggs?
It's funny (not funny ha ha, we're talking about you after all) but you couldn't be more wrong about my political orientation. I actually hate Alex Salmond. Oh, and I'm very rarely in the Scottish Parliament.
