Just hearing about the finances and find the timing of the announcement annoying. We've just won a very difficult away game and everyone is on a high with hopes of a good run, and suddenly negative info is coming out of the club. We know we are living above our means right now but we don't need the media ramming it down our throats. I would have preferred that we beat Sunderland on Saturday and then have the facts broadcast, because our fragile confidence would be much stronger possibly being only a point or two from safety. Lets hope it doesn't damage our euphoria.
its a fixed date 54, you have to publish your accounts by a set time or you get into trouble with companies house.
Could work in our favour though. Remember last week there was that story about Dubai? Didn't do any harm, it might even have helped the team come out fighting on Saturday. Now the cats out the bag about the wages, couldn't Harry use it in the same way? challenge the mercenaries to show their worth to the team etc. I think it was Brian Clough used to stick negative stories about his team up in the dressing room, sounds like the kind of thing he'd do anyway. Here's a Clough quote: "Players lose you games, not tactics. There's so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes"
