    Alreet guys.

I hope tonight Mackems & 'Mags' are on better terms with each other. Last night was one to forget. So lets put it all behind us :)

So, when have you secretly envied the rival team? Come on, we all must have at some point!

I for one was jealous when Sunderland signed Darren Bent (Sorry for mentioning him) and Craig Gordon.

Anyone else care to mention when they've been jealous? :D

Keegan years, and in particular the signing of Ginola.

Wonderful player, and a reet ****, a potent mix for your rivals to have.

Grew to like him as a pundit as time goes by, funnily enough.

When Ashley first bought the mags, thought you'd do well out of him, but since then not so much.

    Sorry couldn't resist.

TBH in the 90's when you lot played so great free flowing attacking football, while we were just ****e.

Well I have to say in all honesty, the record you set having 4 managers in one season. Just don't think we could compare on that......

I wish I was old enough to properly remember those years! Would have been an amazing time to be a Newcastle fan.

One of the the first thoughts I had, just after we got relegated was that you lads were about to embark on an era just like NUFC in the 90's.

    When we were relegated.

They were an EPL team. We weren't.

I'll also be jealous if they sign Kranjcar.

Ginola was a good shout, but Beardsley is one mag I would have put in an all-time SAFC team if we could have got him. Ugly little ****er though.

Hang on - ugly little ****er envy....?

Baboons more your style I would have thought.

When you signed Shearer, still the best striker of the last 20 years for me.

I honestly can't say I've ever been jealous of the mackems apart from Niall Quinn. He's a real belter of a bloke and just the type of person you want running a club. Though his backing of Bruce will no doubt wane if you don't do too grand this season.

The season where Phillips scored with nigh on every touch. He was deadly during that period.

I wish we'd signed Wickham as I think he's one for the future. I wouldn't have wanted us to fork out as much as £8m or whatever, but he would've been a good player to have at the club.

I will never forgive him for scoring against us at SJP. Not that he'd ask for forgiveness though. Back in his prime he was a fantastic striker. It has to be said. An underrated striker if there ever was one.

Shearer best "proper" striker I have seen and I'm talking the world not just England.
