    A great Bowie song.

Let's have a list of your favourite Bowie songs.

    From any era.

Been a Bowie fan since I could walk so too many to list.

But some of my favourites include Let Me Sleep Beside You, In The Heat of the Morning, Moonage Daydream (especially live), Panic in Detroit, his version of Wild is the Wind, Sweet Thing/Candidate/Sweet Thing (reprise), It's No Game, Rock n' Roll Suicide, too many to mention!

And special mention must go to Lady Grinning Soul <ok>

Not a big fan of his 80s stuff but liked Cat People and Blue Jean.

Wish I could go see him one more time.

I prefer Pink Floyd, I went to see The Wall last night in Manchester, and it was absolutely epic. It is probably the best live show I will ever see, the music was great, the special effects were just phenomenal, and Waters has become such a showman!

I also like Space Oddity by Bowie!

    the laughing gnome.......<laugh>

not a huge bowie fan to be honest ,like his version of "sorrow" , also space oddity and sound and vision are undoubted classics. the whole hunky dory album is also superb ; tend to prefer the less hystrionic stuff compared to the glam rock etc.

A pal of mine insists the laughing gnome is his favourite Bowie song and that he's not being 'ironic'. Well, he's being a twat then.

My own favourites are predictable really, Suffragette City, Changes, Ashes to Ashes, Sound & Vision etc etc.

Not a fan of much of his 80's stuff but Loving The Alien and Absolute Beginners stand out amongst the dross of Let's Dance, Tonight and Never Let Me Down albums.

And yes I'd shag him. He's androgynistic and most guys find him attractive and sexy.

His 80s period was poor in general. But he rectified that with the majesty of Tin Machine. <ok>
