Checking out the Mitre pub on Google Maps, a bit down the row of shops is Trago Lounge (a coffee shop?). Now clicking to view from near the 2 red phone boxes, I see my old friend Pizza hut appear in Trago's place.

And it takes me back to all-you-can-eat pizza buffet when I could force down 16 slices of pizza.

Yeah its not that interesting and yeah its not football, but it was weird and I had to share somewhere :p

You don't know about the Beefy thread for all non-football related subjects, then..?

This definately needs its own thread. I mean, that section of Googlemaps is out of date and besides, he once ate 16 slices of pizza!

I'm terribly sorry to have wasted some important internet space with my nonsense. I realise how limited it can be. Once made a mistake and dared read a transfer rumour outside of the officially sanctioned thread. Looks like this fool never learns. Shall spend the rest of the weekend praying forgiveness for these sins and hope that you can find it in your hearts to get through the other side of this transgression.

Just learn the rules of the forum and everything will be hunky dory. There's no need to have a baby.

I went into Domminos Pizza in Plymouth once. When the spotty student looking boy behind the counter had my pizza ready he asked if I wanted it cut into 8 or 12 pieces. I replied "8 please; I'll never be able to eat 12 slices". I don't think he actually got it.

Or perhaps it wasn't the first time he has heard that particular comment ?

I work in a shop....you have to do pained smiles at the same remarks. Word of advice...never go up to a shop assistant at an empty till and say 'You must be lonely' or 'I'll give you something to do.'

Or when an item escaped a price label. 'This one must be free then'. Get's so tiresome.

Yeah, and cut off his privileges [ouch..!], while we're at it, eh..? :)

I know, I'll do what the ref does on Pro Evo 4 [yes, PES4] when the AI opponent cuts one of my lads in half. Punishment enough..? ;)

Without trying to seem like someone who has favourites [it's a lonely job being a mod, you know :) ], this is a football forum [no, really..? Inspired by your excellent avatar] and although we could cut down the amount of threads to about half a dozen permanent ones which we'd just recycle [a la, Beefy], I think we can occasionally have football related threads which stand on their own. Non-football related posts really ought to go in Beefy and nowhere else. But guess what, despite being a hard-faced humourless bastard, whose only joy is to knock someone down the moment they put their timid head over the parapet, I didn't close the thread, despite my earlier withering comment.

Which kind of says something. Maybe..? :)
