by expressing concern at our situation and agreeing that we should have had two pens although you could almost sense he was gloating On the basis of results those beneath us in the table are not as good or more to the point worse than us but can anyone see us beating any of them Even Wigan and Blackburn played quick spirited football. We are slow physical dour and boring just what we have been trying to argue against to support our club But it is time to face the truth The Championship is difficult to escape from so credit to Pulis for putting together a team and tactics to do that but was the 3 year plan more of the same I think we have too many loyal supporters to stay away in the numbers required to get the message over to PC Whether a group of senior players going to PC may help if they are as p****d off with Pulis as some of the "stories" suggest Whilst PC may not agree to their faces he may have a word in Pulis's ear and even he then can not do a Tunny/Kitson etc and ostracise a group Poor play and poor team spirit feed each other and it is difficult to see the spiral being halted because Pulis is too stubborn and arrogant to change even at the expense of the club I think he realises that he is losing the fans Announcing last week that he tried for Barton and SWP was like appealing to the fans that he has tried hard in the transfer market ( but to what effect ? ) and then praising the fans for their support when 3-1 down was patronising I have said this before but we are the present day Wimbledon and history shows that skill eventually overcomes physicality I stll think that we have sufficiently good lads to turn the tide with the right manager tactics and team selection My post last week for a banner in Welsh was "To the Welsh FA Please take the Tw*t with the hat off our hands before he relegates us" For me the message still applies SiS
S I Spain The first part of your post is what worries me mostly. I can NOT see how we are capable of beating any team right now. Something is badly wrong OFF the pitch and on it, and I think the preverbial S*** is about to hit the fan.
Yes Potts lets hope it happens/starts today and the outcome taking personalities out of it is for the good of the team the club and most of all you loyal fans who pay good money week in week out SiS
Morning S I Spain Sure enough, something needs saying to the team, the whole squad as a group and espcially Tony Pulis.. I've said it before S I S I don't care if Mickey Mouse is our Manager so long as we can watch a team " compete" and give it 100% I iwould be happy with that. I will not however travel to away games whilst we are asked to watch defensive/boring/negative football. WELL done too those loyal Stokie's who still do that, I simply will not until either T.P. changes his ways of thinking, or someone else does. Please " sort OUR club out" Mr Coates whatever it takes.
Couldnt agree more Potts I hate losing and even feel sorry for Arsenal when they lose to foreign and can just about stomach when we lose if we have given it a go and played with some flair and style but lost to a better team or just been unlucky as happens to all We have not been attractive to watch but have been difficult to beat Now we can not even defend in depth as Pulis instructs All players lose form at times but it has happened to too many at the same time to be a coincidence One man has to be responsible Pulis Long throws and set pieces no longer work very often He has been rumbled I fell asleep by the pool after lunch and had a dream that he had put in his ticket MON had taken over and we mullered Blackburn Then Mrs SiS woke me up for my afternoon chores and I realised my dream had as much chance as winning the Euro Millions Bookies will take bets on almost anything and perhaps PC should be forced to open a book on how long Pulis can survive and he may then get the message if he hasnt from today's meeting if it went ahead SiS
