It's time to get a bit of focus for us, as well as for mister Pyjamas.

The man is doing everything we are asking for. Okay, we still need a striker and a centre back, but he is hamstrung by Simon Clegg in that respect.

Blackpool are a very, very good side. They look like certs to go up and Tom Ince is the most exciting player in the Championship since Scott Sinclair and Charlie Adam.

Anyone who thought the team we have would win every week and go up automatically with this team was kidding themselves.

But they are a vast improvement on the team that Pyjamas inherited.

We have suffered from neglect in the youth department for a decade and now that's being put right, but will take five years to bear fruit. Another two transfer windows and I think we'll have enough to challenge for 2012-13. We are moving forwards. Remove Pyjamas and it's another three years of players leaving and joining trust to get back to where we are now.

Dont overreact to this result. Blackpool were very, very good and most of the goals were unstoppable.

I understand your frustrations JWM, but if you get rid of PJ now, that's not very fair on the new guy coming in! He'll have no time to assess the squad before the window closes, so he'll be lumbered with someone elses players!

Much better to give the Scouser until Christmas, then turf him out if needs be, then the new man will have the January window to spend ME's money! <ok>

The way its started at Villa, Ipswich might be able to get Lambert if they leave Jewell in place until Christmas. The only problem with Lambert going to Ipswich is that he isn't a miracle worker.<ok>

I have consistently said that Jewell was the wrong appointment for us and I take no pleasure in being totally vindicated. He is 10 years out of date and he was the worst possible choice as manager of Ipswich Town. I have never known a time in nearly 40 years of supporting Town where we are getting thrashed 4 or 5 times a season and the losing streaks we have suffered over the last few years is totally unacceptable! As a fan I am disappointed when we lose but getting thumped at regular intervals with the team making the same errors time and again is just not acceptable. If ME and Clegg wont back Jewell financially then obviously even they think its time for a change so why wait?

JWM. ME and SC aren't splashing out on players because they learned a harsh lesson. Look at the amount of cash QPR are pissing away to replace expensive Championship signings who aren't Premier League quality.

Harry Redknapp would be a great shout but he famously can't use a computer and as we all know Simon Clegg likes to communicate with his staff by email.

Hampy, I wouldn't be surprised if Harry Redknapp was installed as Town manager at Christmas!

If Paul Lambert went to Ipswich in january (which, if he ****s up at Villa, is conceivable) it would cause all hell to break loose in East Anglia. Could you even imagine the uproar?!

I know there are a few nutters in Norwich, and they'd probably even take it to extremes and consider sending a strongly worded email.

There is no chance that Lambert will ever come to Ipswich as manager. <ok>

Jewell has spent less than £400K in the transfer window thus far on 2 players, the others have been freebies and loanees. If ME had such confidence in Jewell why hasn't he backed him a bit more? I don't mean with a huge budget but lets face it £400K is a pitiful amount! I reckon that ME has finally realised that Jewell isn't the right man and he wont be investing anymore money for him to spend and is keeping his options open up to Christmas depending on where we are in the table. ME has always sort to embelish his brand and what better way than recruiting Harry Redknapp as a marque signing. That's my theory, it might end up to be complete bollocks but I'm willing to grasp any straw at the moment. The sooner we get a shake up at Portman Road the better as this current state of affairs cannot be allowed to continue. Mates of mine who have been season ticket holders for donkeys years have all voted with their feet and not renewed, me among them! The money I would normally spend on supporting Town this year will go towards a nice family holiday!
