These next few days should be all about Quinn and Short sitting down with Bruce and either backing or sacking him, it's that simple.
He goes and we have time to get a new man and new players in and, FFS get them in before deadline day that crap is wearing very thin now.
He stays and we start now to look at players who we want and who we want rid of, that will mean another season of team building. We don't need 8 or so squad players here we need 8 or so first team players which is going to be a big ask of Ellis Shorts patience and Bruceys scouting network, which to be honest hasn't set us alight these last couple of years.
Bruce has done what he said he would do a top ten finish and finishing above the mags is just a bonus, so it's over to Short and Quinn to get it sorted out the sooner the better.

If brucies staying surely most of the targets are already in place. If not, sack him now today/tomorrow.

The weird thing is though, Bolton were flying like us at the start of the season, even when we went on a sticky patch they seemed to be still up there, coyle could do no wrong, but they finished 14th us 10th, just goes to show what a weird and crazy season its been.

Yes our 10th has obviously papered over some huge cracks, but its a marathon not a sprint, and the end result is, 10th and highest points tally for us in a decade, thats all the history books will say.
