I can't remember a less likeable Chelsea player than Courtois. Talented, yes, but never committed. He has been a moan fest since he reluctantly joined from his loan spell in Spain. He has never once given his dedication to Chelsea. Now, when Real have gone right off him due to his dreadful form, he says he "will definately be at Chelsea next year". Don't let the snake fool you, he is simply running down his contract to give himself time to find another Club to go to. We should make it crystal clear, sign an extension before this season ends, or you're off in the summer. He was worth maybe 70 mill a month ago, now less than 50 in my mind and exactly ZERO in another year. Take the money and get shot of him ASAP.
Agreed with this tbf. He's been awful for 2 years now and his heart is obviously in Madrid. Jack Butland or Donarumma maybe?
I also agree. Don't like him at all and he is overrated. Petr Cech in his prime would have pissed all over this guy. Cudicini too for that matter.
Completely agree. His spell at Atletico went straight to his head and has been bang average at best since.
yeah i really rated him a few years back but since mourinhos horror season he's been a shadow of himself. time to get rid
What I find the most frustrating with him is his woeful kicking and really poor distribution of the ball. For such a big bloke he struggles to reach the halfway line even on an out of hand kick. Most other keepers full tilt can reach the opponents penalty area.
He's never been worth 70m. He's been rubbish every season he's had with us. Like I said on another thread, if we get offered 20 get rid. Shouldn't even be offering him a new deal.
Gianluigi Donnarumma will not stay at AC Milan past this season. The 19-year-old goalkeeper has decided it is best for his career to leave. (Tuttosport)
Courtois and Hazard for Bale + £150m seems fair to me if they still want both of them and want rid of Bale that badly Then we can flog Morata and someother dead wood and invest. I am not sure I want Conte to be the one to buy though to be honest.
