Time to nip in and get Sigurdsson?

With Rodgers going to Liverpool, the transfer of GS must be up in the air.

I hope we match the £7m fee and get this guy in, hes be our 1st choice attacking midfielder.

I was genuinely surprised United didn't have a closer look at him. I think he is just what they need, a creative goal-scoring midfielder!

 

Hes good enough to go to a club in european competition. Surely hed prefer London to Swansea unless he has a suspicious interest in sheep.

 

Rogers will probably take him to Liverpool. Otherwise I think £7 million to us is good value

 

We can spend £7 million on a lot better players than Sigurdsson! He is an average Premiership/good Championship player IMO. Leon Britton would be much better, passing rate similar to Xavi.

 

Come on please. Sigurdsson is an outstanding talent. he was one of the best set piece takers i saw at loftus road. And knows how to score. If you look at Leon Britton most of his passes are always in his own half to his back four.

 

Sigurdsson's medical has held up the deal, that may just be an excuse to scupper the Swansea transfer and he'll be off to Liverpool...

 

He ended up with zero assists all season because all he did was pass it back to the back 4.

 

Can't work out if this is a wum or not. Sigurdsson will surely follow Rodgers whether he goes or stays. Britton has a wonderful pass completion rate with an average pass distance of about half a yard. Xavi he is not.

 

So, twice as far as Buszaky then

 

Different type of player. Both quite ineffective imo but Britton does more defensively while Buz will pop up with the odd goal.

 

Yes, a bit like Smith. Both can score crackers but sadly not too often

 

I don't rate Sigurdsson - no wumming about it. He can't be worse than SWP anyway!
