NICE BLOKE AN ALL THAT,,,,,,,,but we are supposed to be a pro outfit, when this guy is fit, which is not often , he can be great, I realy feel sorry for him, when you have a talent and cannot use it due to health problems, thats a damn shame, in mensahs case, this is not self inflicted, ie, Georgie Best, alcohol, same problem myself realy, truth be known. But this medical problem exists, and he should not be considered a player, or on a team sheet ,until he is bob on, which is looking like a non runner, shame I like the lad, but as a pro outfit. Goodbye, harsh I know, but if I dont perform in my job .. Goodbye.. is that less harsh?

thanks for all your efforts John, sorry about your health.Doubtless you will outlive most of us. But IMO, Sad to say not doing what you crave most,,,,,,,,football.
 
Don't want to but kind of find myself agreeing with the post.

To me, Mensah looks almost apologetic these days when he has to be substituted, always fighting a loosing battle to stay injury free. A true professional in every sense, certainly in years gone by one of the best defenders of his time. As Sunderland are surely looking to kick on (aslong as we stay up of course?!) I believe a younger, fitter replacement is the only viable option.
