I've never had an issue with drinkers at Sandown, one of the courses that I really like going to because of the space and set up of the course for spectators. I would much rather go to that course than Newbury for instance.
agree about Sandown.
I was there in December for Tingle Creek day.
one observation though - the number of people in the stands diminished with each passing race…as the quality of races improved. There were actually less people watching the Tingle Creek than the opener.
postscript; that opening race was won by Constitution Hill…so maybe they knew more than me, and that all further racing was going to be of poorer quality!
