Ok I'll hold my hands up to a few dodgy post regarding certain players coming in to HQ over the years but that's the info I heard or was told! anyway lets cast our minds back to 96 when my beloved hoops of 40 odd years got relegated from the Premier... YES for a few seasons we were awesome, top London club, stuffing Chelsea, Man Utd, spuds etc! but that was then...only two managers since that sad miserable day to the present can hold their heads up, Ollie and Nellie! Ollie in my eyes was the greatest manager in hoops history! loyal to the bone, no money to spend, administration and still got us back to the old league one (championship) Ollie had players playing for the shirt, Furs, Birch, Rowley, Gallen, Cookie and ****tu etc... Nellie ( After some seriously pony managers) got us back to the promised land, for WHAT! to get sacked just like Ollie (Gardening leave my arse) so more dodgy managers arrive to nose dive the club back down, but in reality we are where we belong, we have no divine right for an immediate return to the premier league and as things stand a play off place will be the most we can except at this present time! I've supported the hoops since I was 11 years old, I'm now 58 and been a season ticket holder for 20 odd years! I've read so many posts over the weeks about HR, who needs to get the sack, Laughable! half his first team are injured and if they come back just in time and we are still in a play off place then I would back us to return to the top flight...Can you imagine winning promotion at a sea of blue and white hoops at Wembley, Just like QPR! I was at yesterdays game and nobody was screaming for HR head, it must just be a few armchair supporters on this Forum!!!! COYR'S
So we've had two good managers, neither of whom is Redknapp, but we should stop moaning about Redknapp? We are where we belong, but you back us to get promoted via Wembley?
