After three successive defeats,we now go to Goodison Park to play a side that will be bouncing after having won an F.A. cup-tie at Chelsea.Everton's tails will be up and they will be full of confidence. However, this is where Steve Bruce will prove his worth. We have a poor recent track record at Goodison, but that is now past history!Steve should now be telling our lads that Everton only drew at Chelsea over 90 minutes, whereas we won 3-0!Get the lads working on the training-ground to learn how to defend set-pieces and we will beat Everton.

everton played a chelsea team that was somewhere in the middle of the two chelsea teams we have played this season, the crap one and the excellent one.
They didn't look to much, although we know they have some good players, cahill was way off and lets hope that continues, beckford as a striker is not intimitating, they were lucky last night and if the ref had given chelsea the penalty i feel it would have been much different. everton are a decent team but nothing to be scared off anymore, i feel safc have a better team and its time to break this hoodoo.
why oh why did it have to be neville to score the winning penalty, he is a penis

i'd have given my right arm to be a pianist. sir bobby robson

Bruce is doing a fantastic job whatever happens against Everton.
Our squad is getting stronger and stronger year on year. We have been decimated by injury's and shocked by B£nt yet still we sit seventh.
Anything inside the top ten will be a very good season IMO.

If I remember right we lost to Wolves the next away game after beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge so maybe there will be a bit of 'after the lord mayor's show' with Everton
A win for us is definately a reasonable possibility.

A win or loss vs Everton wont prove anything. However, we should more than able to beat them.

Our target is top ten finish this season, and ahead of the Mags if possible. If we achieve 7th + in the league, then I will be over the moon.

MUST WIN…………… if not then it’s eighth place for us which could easily be followed by a further slide down the table

I don’t think that I’m being overly negative but a fourth loss in a row and downward slide at this stage could have a huge effect on everyone
