It's that time when they start putting managers forward for manager of the month. I don't know if NA is up for it but he should be. I'm torn because I think he deserves it, but it is pretty meaningless and can bring a curse down on the recipients head. Can we beat this like we beat the curse of Sky?
Much better for him to miss out on this one but get the next one. That way he gets his reward and we get the points.
Funny you should mention this because i got very annoyed yesterday when i saw the nominations on sky sports news,they are - Gus Poyet Darren i think i'm as good as my dad ferguson Lee Clark Karl Robinson Obviously Poyet is going to win it as he has won 8 games this month but i think Adkins should of been nominated! Never mind,hopefully poyet gets the manager of the month curse!
Wow, I thought NA was a shoe-in. He was up for it last month when he obviously wasn't going to win it. OK by me. Never did anyone any good. Never mind, Nigel, we love you.
My humble opinion for what it is worth is that NA does not give a Rats Ass as to the manager of the month title. Those sort of titles do not keep you in a job, no matter how many you win a season. Where as promotions and good results do. So you carry on as you are doing NA and we promise you, you will be manager of the year at Saints. Blow the rest of the league.
Agree with you, Beddytare. Just afraid of bad luck. Lately I've been avoiding cracks in pavement, black cats etc. That's why we are doing so well As it turns out..he's not nominated so no need to fear.
