Whilst i agree with others regarding we need 11 Jon Stead's, he was injured for most of the season, so where some of us have been saying that he should of been played for most of the games Del has not really had that option of a fit Stead!
I think that Del got Woods because he likes the idea of having Stead sort of player, once Stead was match fit he had been a regular and probably is first on the team sheet along with Cisse.
Jon Stead runs his heart out for team and does not give up the chase, so a semi fit Jon Stead charging around the pitch running the chance of further injury is a risk that some can't take
