Let's get Peter Reid in for the last nine games. Least he would get us fired up and show some passion....rather go down fighting that watch the white flag getting raised like it did today.....

This is not the worst suggestion I have heard. Reidy would give it t good go for the last few games, unlike the lack luster, insipid, abject, gutless display we saw yesterday.

The same reid we sacked he owes us no favours. Yesterday reminded me of reids last days. We need someone to come in steady the ship enough to keep us up then hopefully move forward next season. He will need to get rid of most of the first team to eradicate the drinker culture at the club using a combination of the younguns and some signings and see how we go from there. I here the u21s look decent would stockdale be able to do it or would it be too big a step up.

two birds with one stone , i hear clarkson might be looking for a job which calls for a few home truths to be said, his two mates could also help pick the team and the stig could drive the bus cant be any worse than what gus is doing at the moment.

Get Big Sam in - give him a 5 year contract.
Then watch to Sol become a fortress again, and watch Wengers puss when moans about our bullying tactics, after we win 0-1 at The Emirates!!
Big Sam is a proven organiser, in the last few months of his contract.
He would be here in a flash!!

As a short term ok, anything longer would be foolish.

Can't do any worse with the games left this season.

Some one like that would transform the club totally. Not just for a few games, but totally. The stadium would be sold out, players would come. Every one would take notice.

But this being SAFC, he'd **** it up and sacked within a year.<whistle>

I think Big Sam would be good, he wouldn't have any lack of effort from the players and would have us well organised and hopefully get rid of Brown and O'Shea who are well past the sell by date.

One thing about Reidie mind - he'd cure the drink culture at the club. They'd be sick of the stuff after he'd drunk the buggers under the table every Sunday night! <laugh>
