I'm now getting really fed up of some fans still keeping there faith in MM I know there entitled to there opinion but this is just getting ****ing ridiculous now will they still have faith in him come March when we're firmly rooted to the table I'm sorry but something needs to be done now the players and management just can't cut it, to me it seems some people just love failure, I'm a gashead threw and threw and will always put my home town club before the England football team (who I haven't cared about since around 1992) and it really saddens and angers me to see the team I love doing so poorly season after season we need IMO our new stadium and some investment soon or we will be doomed to the Conference where I fear we will stay for a long time .

Agreed...so many rose-tinters on the OS. We seem to disintegrate in the second half of every match.
12 wins in 40 matches! Riordan was a waste of space tonight. Double relegations for the Bristol sides
    the way things are going.

<ok> Yeah its not looking good at the moment I think both Bristol clubs IMO are starting to lose there Bristolian identities I mean how many players from both clubs combined come from Bristol or locally with in the west/south west I would say the players were just in it for the pay packet they have no passion for the Blue and White quaters or the Red and White of City just my opinion though.

    Ridiculous post.

To not want to sack the manager is not being a rose tinter, it is merely being realistic, and realising that things take time and sacking the manager time and time again is not going to solve the problem.

How many managers per season will you be happy for us to employ and then send on gardening leave.

A lot of people need to get away from the 'instant success' and 'instant celebrity' era and realise that time and hard work will lead to success.

Sick and tired of 'pretend' fans wanting to change managers every couple of months.

    FFS grow up.

Im with pure gas here. I still want mcghee. We wont go down. We wont get anywhere sacking managers. We have to stop this trend as its a joke. He is make many mistakes which is doing my head in but half if his playing budget is injured and I will judge him when he has the majority of players back available to him.

Remember guys, opinions my differ but were still family and want the best for the gas but have different opinions on what that is. Respect each other.

'if his playing budget is injured'

..but cjs......is Harrold better than Eaves, Bevan better than Etheridge,
would Bolger get in ahead of Kenneth and Parkes, would Virgo and Gill
be automatic first choices? And Lund has been a competent deputy for
    Woodards.
Like you I don't want MM to go, but 12 wins out of 40 games for an experienced
manager won't do. Something's not right. I suspect it's a mixture of poor tactics
and, sadly, that our players are not as good as we, and they, think!

I didn't mean to come across all angry last night guys, but constant chopping and changing doesn't work.

Lennie Out, Trollope Out, Penney Out, Buckle Out, McGhee Out?

That policy has taken us from the top half of League One, to one point off the bottom of League Two. Carry on with that policy and where will we be?

We have punched way above our weight in attracting McGhee, and have also attracted some very good footballers for League Two. It is most unlikely we will get anyone as experienced if we got rid of him.

Nowhere, by the way, did I say he was great, and playing Virgo as a striker is probably one of the most ridiculous bits of management that I have ever seen.

It just needs time, support, players to gel, lack of injuries and a bit of luck.

I would be a lot more worried at the fall out of getting rid of him, than sticking with him and getting behind the boys.

No worries <ok> we all get peep off with it. We are always promised by the board that when a new manager comes in he will take us places and this clearly doesn't happen <wah> MM needs to find a tatic and stick with it and play players in there right postion. IMO I still dont think MM is the right man Rovers hopefully I'm wrong.

Maybe a stint in the conference will give the relevant people at this club the kick up the arse it needs :undecided:
