Rooney HAS to be dropped now what does Hernandez have to do to be in the starting lineup!? Rooney will be good coming on as a sub.
I think Rooney is being done no favours by being played on the left wing on regular occasions. He is hopeless there. However, Hernandez can't do much more than he's doing right now.
rooney is just having a bad season i think we may have to wait until next season before we see him back to his best.
I do agree with both of your comments, but Hernandez has to start now what more does a player have to do to get in the starting lineup? Rooney will be back to his best, maybe not this season but next season. As the saying goes class is permanent form is temporary.
It will be interesting to see what Fergie does on European nights. Will he play Rooney up front on his own? Well done lads tonight!
I'd happily give Hernandez more game time, but I wouldn't drop Rooney from a regualry starting place with Berbatov. I'd bring him on earlier or give him the occasional start. He played rubbish yesterday but he was out of position for most of the game. Also you have to remember that even though he didn't score, he was fantastic against Birmingham and has been creeping towards good for for a couple of games. Just ignore last night as a bad day and see how he is the next time he plays. He's still a top player, just needs to get the run of consistent good form and a couple of goals. I wouldn't be suprised if Hernandez starts on Saturaday though.
Well i agree with the op but im not sure its going to happen because its too late into the season to risk the 2 berba and chica...lets hope rooney picks up his form because the way it looks right now his value will be less then 5 mill by the end of the season..
if you dont mind me asking what was your username on 606?just want to know whos jumped to this website out of the united fans..
I think the most urgent issue is the duo of Carrick-Berbatov being our first choice ahead of either pairing of the following: Vidic, Ferdinand, Evans, Smalling and Jones.
