Bournemouth have had enough, and today sacked manager Paul Groves and his assistant Shaun Brooks due to a poor run of results. Step forward Mr Redknapp and his trusty companions Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond (and Rosie) ? Will 'Arry take over, just like he did all those years ago at Fratton Park, when he calmly waited for Graham Rix to be sacked by Milan ? All will be revealed soon - watch this space....................
It wouldn't surprise me. All WH Smith branches in Dorset have already started rationing brown envelopes
Skybet have Steve Cotterill as favourite Next Permanent Bournemouth Manager Steve Cotterill 1/4 Eddie Howe 7/1 Harry Redknapp 12/1 Gary Johnson 12/1 Paul Ince 20/1 Glenn Hoddle 20/1 Nigel Worthington 25/1 Billy Davies 25/1 Phil Brown 25/1 Alan Curbishley 28/1 Chris Wilder 33/1 George Burley 33/1 Iain Dowie 33/1 Brian Laws 33/1 Gary Megson 33/1 Andy Scott 33/1
Nah - don't think 'Arry will want the Cherries - Eddie Mitchell is an aggressive drinker and there is very little money there. Some people are saying that he's waiting for one of the London clubs to get rid, can't remember which one it is though......... Fulham possibly?
He'll probably feel he deserves better than a struggling League One club. To be fair, I think he still has it in him to manage a Prem/Championship team .. However- as I always say whenever he joins a team, Jamo, Crouchie and Defoe always follow him. And James has already joined! Coincidence, or were they planning Arry's role as manager ??
3rd eye! Why would Fulham get rid of Martin Jol ?? They're ninth in the Prem, and have scored 5 on two occasions this season already. Mixed in with only two lossed all season- one v Man City, the other v United. Hardly any reasons to sack him!
I can't remember which of the London clubs I saw mentioned - Fulham was just the first one that popped into my mind (hence the ?) Anyway I saw him linked with one of the London clubs - I just love all these rumours
Being bottom of the table, and struggling for a win, despite spending all that money on big signings, must mean that Mark Hughes's position is somewhat tenuous at QPR. Never did rate the Welsh windbag as a manager. Always full of excuses when they lose - never ever his fault.
