With the new season on it's way and at least one of the players on the current banner having moved on, it's probably time to start drumming up ideas for a new one. Roo PM'd me today to ask about it, so I thought I'd throw the idea out there and see what everyone thought. It's probably best not to finalise til we've done the bulk of our transfer business, but at least this way we can get going. Anyone out there got any wonderful designs in mind? I know the new kit launch had a few people eyeing it for ideas. The image has to be 1800 pixels wide, but I'm not sure how deep/tall/whatever it has to be. I'll check and update when I get a reply.
I don't mind making an attempt at this as I'm fairly decent with photoshop when it comes to layouts and original designs so unless you have someone that usually does the banner then i'll post up my attempt in a week or so.
The last banner creator was Ensil, so I don't think he'll be admitting an entry this season! Should've mentioned the dimensions, so I'll edit it now.
the infamous ensil! current background image is 1,920px à 375px but that seems too big as some of the design gets cut off when added on here.
The players on the left are long gone. I've nor problem with keeping it as it is, Kranjcar leaving isn't embarrassing to still have up their, he was an important part of the team when he arrived and left when his time was up with us.
I may be arse at Photoshop, so won't be able to do a decent job, but my suggestions are... * Keep the cockerel in the middle * Tidy up the legends on the right (maybe add the pick of Dave Mackay with Billy Bremner at his mercy) * Maybe add some of the current kit photos on the left
No my mistake, was viewing in a different browser which was zoomed in so i couldn’t see the entire banner but all the banners on this site are at 1,920px à 375px so that should be right.
I also suggested an idea to pnp of having ledley king as the main feature for this season, as a tribute to him. Just thought it'd be nice touch.
It is 1920Ã375. The original is here: http://www.not606.com/styles/car/Tottenham Hotspur.jpg Taking away the top white space, the height should be 310px. So, aim for 1,920x310px and expect some fading around the edges.
As long as its not the one of Scott Parker having a tug!...don't like that one! Good idea to keep the middle, and aren't the legends on the left? Anyway, I think incorporating Ledley is a nice touch, lifting the trophy with disconsolate Chavs in the background should ruffle a few feathers when they see that!
