Perfect time for this fixture gives Troare and others a chance of 75/90 tonight. 3-0 Town for once I'm very confident of us going through - what's more, I think Mick wouldn't mind another cup tie to keep certain players happy/ let them press for the first team. For the first time in ages we can field quite a strong side first round. I'd love to progress and get a league 2 side at home round 2.
We must be due a cup win...our record is absolutely embarrassing. I think we may squeeze this one in extra time
Liking all the optimism and then switched over from sublime Barcelona doing Seville and find Town down a goal aghhhhh...
Sounded like a decent performance. Nice to hear new lads Yorwerth, Kenlock and Fraser having a good game. Nice to get to actually get to a second round for a change!
That'll do me, good result with a good few minutes in a few. 90 in Coke / Douglas / Tabb / McGoldrick / Pitman and 45 in Toure who according to TWTD was poor. I thought it was a bit harsh leaving Tabb out of the sqaud first game with Toure / Coke being on the bench ahead of him to be honest - I know Toure is a different player but even so! Hopefully Bru is back Sat - wonder when Bishop will be.
Kenlock looked very good going forward, and as Castro said Fraser coming on made all the difference. With all the options available now, why oh,why do we still have to suffer Tabb? Oh,and for all those writing McGoldrick off,he was a class apart.
Just got back........slow first half but after going a goal down I thought we dominated......Kenlock looks very promising .......Fraser looks awesome pace and skill to burn plus he wears the same size shorts as Tabb.....As for Tabb he was poor first half and only slightly better second half.......Toure IMO is still very much off the pace hopefully once he gets fitter he will be more impressive.......JD and Coke looked ok..........Pitman linked up quite well with Goldy and Fraser especially second half.
Thanks for reports everyone. Job done, good work out, several fine performances, and very pleased to hear about Goldy.
Well it was good to get a win for confidence, form, and performances. Not to mention the strength of character to come back from behind and see out the game following Saturday's result (even if it was against Stevenage, no disrespect intended). Unfortunately I was unable to watch the game last night, so thanks for your opinions above. Looking forward to Saturday, it'll be interesting to see how we'll fare against a new-look Sheffield Wednesday side that have won both their games this season.
On a more positive note the midfield have scored 75% of our goals.....who says they don't score enough..
Second round draw tonight after the Leeds game, we'll be seeded so a good chance of another decent draw * In the voice of the Liverpool fan who does them hilarious videos on YWFA, " This is our year!! "
