scum seem to be doing rather well with it. JFH needs to do something a bit different or he may have to walk. I know we need stability but we also need a manager who is willing to admit one up front isn't working.
    Smithies
    Onouha Hall Caulker
    Perch Finish lad
    Cousins Luongo Ariel
    Washington Sylla

Without Chery I feel that gives us more balance and with him, shodipo, polish winger and pouter on the bench, we have options if not going well. Put it this way, can it get much worse?

Only effective if you have three good centrebacks and two good wingbacks, we fail on both counts...

We could get Aaron Hughes back for the right wing-back role like Redknapp tried at Charlton.

Perch is bad enough when given the simple remit of stopping their winger and passing it five yards or hoofing it up the line. He'd be inept at wing-back.

We've got good wingers. We just aren't using them.

Theoretically, I think it's a very good idea - we do have 3 good CBs and 3 good CMs (I include Cousins on the assumption that a longer run in his favoured position would bring more from him) so the peg-hole connundrum would be less apparent.

Isn't Hammy-linesman a left mid by nature but with defensive prowess? That would qualify him for a WB role.

Perch or Wszolek would be either a defensive or attacking option on the right.

More CMs might improve our ball retention too.

Sadly, we don't have a tactically astute Italian at the helm to make such a change a likely success.

I doubt we have the players with the skill or football smartness to do this. Note as well that none of some of our best - Robinson, Pawel, Chery or Shodipo get included in that 11.

I would start the other way and invite teams on to us it's too fragile still
The other team can't score without the ball ... Brentford were very good last week because they have that Woods player he ran the game I saw
