Usually Tigersplayer videos for the full match take 48 to 72 hours or even longer to appear. When you consider that unlike the highlights video no editing is required, this is a crap service. For three out of four games recently the 90 minute footage wasn't uploaded at all. Ninety minute video for the Derby, Leeds, and Blackpool games never appeared. Today the guy behind it all excelled himself and uploaded the 90 minutes by lunchtime! If he can be that quick once he can do it every week.
On one occassion I had the highlights to the game before I got the preview. It's a cheap service at £4 when you get what you're paying for. But recently it's been lacking. I did ask the club why this was the case and they said " We're having problems with the uploading software." Make of that what you will.
You were probably just being fobbed off. I do feel the service would be marvellous if they could get the 90 minute video uploaded by lunchtime the following day, as happened for the first time amazingly today. The time before the person responsible gets around to pressing the upload button varies enormously. It can be as late as Wednesday following a Saturday game.
I have found the Derby match(full) on the Derby website. Using your Tigersplayer login details works on other clubs websites, on cities site go to the league table click on any club this will take you to their website and you can log into their player with no problem.
Thanks I might do that. The one I (and everyone else) really wanted to see was the Leeds game. I checked out the Leeds site to see if I could watch it there, as a workaround for the City office's incompetence in uploading it but it turns out Leeds aren't part of the group of websites that are designed together and have the same videoplayers.
I think there's a rights issue with the Football League and League Cup that says they're not allowed to upload it before a certain point after the game has finished (part of the TV deal). Obviously that doesn't explain the longer than normal or missing games, but it would explain the FA Cup game being up earlier.
The full match videos for Leeds, Derby, and all previous matches have been on for weeks. Just go on "Latest News" and watch. Blackpool for some reason isnt on yet.
