A first win at Portman Road since 1990....according to one website I saw. A fabulous afternoon for City and the Tiger Nation. The Ipswich stewards had been told that City had sold 450 tickets, but expected 600 or so. I suspect they did not anticipate such great vocal support. The Ulltra's were in fine voice, particularly with the Black n Amber army chant for long durations of the game and getting good support from the rest of the Tiger Nation. During a quiet spell of play the Ulltras ran through some classic chants from the last 30 tears... a real joy and education for some. Now for the game, City were composed at the back, Hobbs and Chester were both excellent, the goalie was better on the crosses than against Blackpool. Ipswich were unlucky at times around the Hull goal, but the Tigers rode their luck and remained composed, passing the ball about nicely in midfiled and most of the players looking comfortable on the ball. Up front Fryatt was clearly out of sorts, but class is permanent and he came good in the 76th minute...Super Matt!! Koren was looking good and Brady has so much potential. However my MOTM was Rosenior, superb, always looking composed at the back and dangerous on the attack, plus he has the best chant! My only gripe is when big Del came on, why do we waste corners in the last 5 minutes instead of trying to score again? ... it never works and it is poor sportsmanship. Great day for the Tigers, bring on Leeds! UTT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
