Not much difference between the Daily Mail and the Fail, both horrible rags full of appaling journalism, the Allams can give money to whoever they want, so long as our club is doing well with them as owners I couldn't care less.

IIRC the Hull Daily Fail is owned by the same group as The Mail. This is also why the HDM has had a few two-page spreads advertising the national paper recently.

    This.

They're always giving money away, I don't see why this is any different.

Perhaps giving a bung of £100,000 is good business practice in Egypt !

I must be the only one who feels Mr Allam may have ulterior motives then.

With donations like this there is always an ulterior motive.

You've got to admire Allams' balls.

He'll not rest until he gets his way.

He wants the KC Stadium........ but I don't like the idea of the massive debt he will saddle the club with.

I only hope when he kicks the bucket (he's no spring chicken - so it won't be long) that his son abandons all this 'buying KC Stadium/new ground at Melton/sports village/huge mortgage/whatever else comes next' nonsense.

    Doubt it though.....

Done correctly the sports village becomes an asset generating a load of revenue that the club can spend which will be quite important with the fair play rules coming in.

We have a load of numpties in charge of our local council; annoyingly they're the only people who can't see that it'd be a good idea to let Mr Allam build a multi-million pound sports village as a gift to the people of Hull. If it takes bribery to get the Labour hierarchy to step in and sort things out then fine.
