well he isn't exactly going to be playing at the moment! hopefully he'll come back nice and fresh for the new season without being hampered by those niggly injuries
Well obviously not, it'd be nice if in those contract announcements there was an update on how he's getting on though
isn't he knocking off the wife of....? ......best not go there eh in all seriousness, massive fingers crossed we get him back for pre-season and on the form he had last (first half) of the season
my question is, why? why is it important to anyone other than the manager as to what stage of recovery tierney is at? its close season!
He's already got quite a big contract I think and extending it seeing as he was away for the majority of last season with injury would be silly. I do believe he is an ace left bAck though and can play a big part in this season
but why would they? i don't understand the logic behind putting out a press release to announce that a player is still injured or will be preparing for pre-season with the rest of the squad. it makes no sense - why do you need to know right now? surely you will know if he's back when they begin training. or is it just that you're all incredibly nosey...
I'm sure about 3 weeks before the end of the season, they said Vaughan, Ayala and Tierney would all be ready for the new season!
Thanks Dave, only asked because other players keep getting mentioned, but Supers seems to think we are paranoid (pot kettle)
what dave has said above i assumed everyone already knew, that's why none of this makes any sense at all!! and it does seem as though many fans are disappointed that they aren't being told every little thing that goes on at the club! does that make you paranoid?
Why do people discuss transfer rumours, why do we talk about anything. I don't understand the problem in being curious and wondering we are fans of the club after all. I really don't understand attitudes to some topics by some on here, is there some rule I've missed on what we are or are not supposed to speculate on???? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Calm down supers you'll blow something I don't think wondering about the fitness of a player is "every little thing" without meaning to be rude I think you're being a bit silly chap. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
sorry, maybe i'm completely misjudging it but it just seems like such a waste of time even asking and certainly a waste of time in wanting the club to be forthcoming with news snippets every day just to keep fans occupied so they have something to talk about apologies if i'm wrong.
Blimey, calm down chaps! Think someone has had a bad day!! I agree with Rich - surely anything discussed on here is largely speculation and rumour and I don't see why wondering if one of our first team squad is going to be fit for the new season is any different from speculating on transfer targets, which after all is 90% just recycling news from other sources.
To be fair I think that it's best keeping him quiet, I think if he had played all season like he started it he wouldn't be a Norwich player end of season. They are not many good left backs about at the moment so keep him quiet so people are not reminded off his form.
There's a saying among stockbrokers/share holders: "Sell in May and go away". We could do with some similar advice aimed at us fans in June. Any (printable) ideas?
If no one is allowed to be curious and ask questions without being shot down, why not just close the board from the end of one season to the start of the following pre-season training?
