Some absolutely sublime link-up play between them yesterday. A proper double act down the left that got us a lot of joy. Naughton Bennett is pretty good too, but Tierney and Pilks have a very good understanding, and both their crossing abilities are very sharp.
Couldn't agree more, thought they were outstanding and played like they'd been in the same team together for seasons, not a few games.
At times (Not yesterday though) Pilkington seemed to ignore a few of Tierney runs, I remember once (Vs Swansea I think) where Tierney was a through ball away from a super cross and Pilkington went for a 35 yard shot instead, Tierney was annoyed enough to confront Pilks about this. But yeah, they've both been super, shame we didn't really attack those crosses enough yesterday.
