Yeah, I think he meant people who weren't of the age, some of my colleagues have been vaccinated. Well over two thirds are under 40 though.
Aye, most of our staff are under 40 though. Restaurants have all been closed, though and I imagine taxi usage has been well down. The government's attitude of "schools aren't worth worrying about" is getting somewhat tiresome.
Not being dismissive but if the rate of vaccination carries on as it has so far I think everybody will be vaccinated sooner rather than later. Easter holidays coming up soon-ish will give teachers a couple of extra weeks grace too. As it happens I think teachers should have been done in December so that schools could have reopened in January.
That was the main message at today's presser, doing it by age is simple and as a consequence, very efficient. The aim is to vaccinate everyone as quickly as possible and they'll risk doing nothing that slows that process down. It makes sense and as vaccinations is possibly the only thing they've got bang on so far, I'm happy for them to carry on carrying on.
All the schools in France have remained open without their teachers being vaccinated. Is the virus and who it affects different there?
Much depends on everyone complying with the rules and appropriate control of those "bending" the rules. The message will need to be rammed home in some cases unfortunately.
They have a curfew from 6pm to 6am. They are now talking of another lockdown. But the schools will remain open.
The population density of France is around 120 people per square kilometer, the population density in England is around 430.
Who knows, maybe the teachers are just healthier and use their own common sense, like most others have to do? The bigger victims, that are more vulnerable are those in factories with unscrupulous employers.
The density in Paris and Marseille and other cities is similar to our cities. The schools in those cities are all open. The population density in the UK is 278 per square kilometre. You can't disregard a large part of the UK. You could alter France's figure by disregarding the half of the country whichnis the least sparsely populated.
