surely it was an ideal opportunity to do a special price for both games. And make it cheaper we need summat from these two games and need as much support as possible. My friend got me a ticket for that but I can't make it due to work , I feel daft for asking but feel as tho I have missed something but what exactly is it for? Have I missed an announcement about Chilton?
It's been arranged since early December when Chris Chilton was in Castle Hill. It's a bit of a get together for the old players in his honour and maybe raise a few bob. The original idea was to get all the remaining 65/66 team together. Local group The Beautiful Couch are playing with The Frogg Brothers. Local sponsors have stepped forward to meet the costs and several fans and businesses have donated prizes for the raffle. There will also be an auction of football memorabilia with a signed Manchester City shirt donated by Brian Marwood plus shirts donated by Tom Cairney, Liam Cooper and Josh Tymon. Dave Burns is comparing and hopefully there will be time for a bit of a question and answer session with some of the old players. Over 30 are expected including Steve McClaren, Billy Whitehurst, Mally Lord, Ian Butler, Roy Greenwood, Geoff Barker, Waggy, Ken Houghton, and all those who can make it. Proper old school Hull City night.
At least 70%. Do you recall that west ham player we were interested in when SB was here. He would rather stay bench warming on mega bucks than come to us and play
So, it makes commercial sense to have a higher price for tickets when the match is being televised live - am I missing something? We don't price games as we go, the game categories are all confirmed at the start of the season, when we obviously don't know which will be televised.
I don't know how much notice Sky give when they televise games but it wouldn't be much of a problem to change the category really would it I realise I'm talking about if the club actually cared about how many fans turn up for games etc.
Sky can change things within a couple of weeks of a game, though in this case it was announced at the end of Jan. It's easy enough to reprice the game, but it messes up the savings they claim you get with memberships and they don't want to make them look any worse than they already do.
Benefits of the membership scheme? how's the reward thing going? has anyone earned their stripes yet?
