Sounds insane I know, but I actually fancy a trip down there! Never been to Brisbane Road and couldn't make the first game. Plus hopefully Brucey might play a stronger team as apparently the 2nd string were gash at the KC. Does anyone know anything about tickets/travel as the club is currently offering nothing.
To be fair if anything I was "anti-Premier league", I only went to 2/3 games when we were in the Premiership because I couldn't afford it, plus to be honest, I like the Championship better. IMO, better fans, better atmosphere... no ponces like Rooney or Van Persie (maybe Wilfried Zaha and Tom Ince but there's many more in the PL)
With the amount of knocks we've had to players recently it would be pretty stupid of Bruce to risk it, and he's not daft. He obviously doesn't give two ****s about the cup like the rest of us.
I went to the KC match, so I'll go to the replay. I hope we go for it now, with Barnsley the possible opponents, it should be easy to get through to the last 16! And besides, if we play awful again, that fat twat might be in the home end and hopefully that Group of lads come to match again too to abuse him as that was the only enjoyment that myself and those around me got from the match...
I'm not going to be able to confirm until the last minute so am hoping this will be pay on the gate, do you think that's likely? Can't see us taking many but then my memories of Brisbane Road (a 1-1 draw in an evening game about 7-8 years ago?) is that the away end is pretty small?
